Revenue from Tesla’s Model S and Model X has helped with the production of the Model 3. And as you already know over 180,000 reservations for the Model 3 were ordered in a span of 24 hours. If Tesla sells the Model 3 at an average price of $42,000, Tesla will be making over $7.5 billion dollars. This is what people wanted – a great looking electric car.
